Rights Respecting Schools
Pupil Voice Group
Our Aims:

Our aim is to promote Children’s Rights throughout the school and to collect children’s ideas and views. This involves planning whole-school events, organising fundraising activities and supporting other classes -raising awareness of the different rights we have using the UN Articles.
We will be helping to work towards our Rights Respecting Schools Gold award, ensuring Children's Rights are given high priority throughout the school.

Election of our representatives:
After reading the job description about the qualities needed, we completed application forms to apply for the role in the pupil voice group. We presented our ideas and we voted for who we wanted to represent our class.
Here are our representatives for this year....

Our Action Plan:

We meet each half term to talk about our action plan for the term ahead.
We decided:

1. The group would like to organise and deliver a whole school assembly on World Mental Health week in February.
2. We will arrange whole school activities for World Mental Health week to promote positive mental health for all.
3. We will create a booklet to support classes in the school to explain Children's rights.
4. We will raise the profile of the Right of the Month throughout the school.
